Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations Virtual Training

This flammability training course is perfect for new starters, colleagues needing a recap and experienced colleagues needing confirmation on relevant issues.

The course explains the requirements of the Furniture & Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations covering the supply of furniture and beds for domestic use.

The course is structured in a way to show why and how the regulations came about, a look at what’s in and out of scope, and an explanation of the testing and labelling requirements. The course will also deal with common interpretations and frequently asked questions.

In addition the course will look at how furniture and bed fire safety is regulated in the contract sector, looking into the legal aspects as well as the relevant British Standards that cater for the contract market.

Finally the course will look at providing an understanding of the obligations to due diligence.

Key take-aways:

For manufacturers: You will take away a great understanding of raw material testing requirements, display and permanent labelling requirements and due diligence obligations.
